FreeUndelete v2.0

Description:
FreeUndelete is data recovery program for deleted files.

In case of accidental deletion of files on a NTFS (used by default in Windows XP, 2000 and NT), FAT32 or FAT16 file systems FreeUndelete is the utility to help.

It is our pleasure to emphasize that FreeUndelete is free for personal use. There is no charge, direct or hidden, to download and use a fully functional copy of the program. The program does not install any spyware or adware along with it. It does not populate user's desktop with pop-up ads or forcefully subscribe user to mailing lists.

Please note that for use in business environment a $69.00 Business License purchase is mandatory. Registered business users get guaranteed customer support service. For private users customer support is not guaranteed and depends on support staff workload.

There are just a few things we ask FreeUndelete users to do:
* Read the Proper Usage Techniques section prior to downloading and using the program. This is important for avoiding further damage to the lost data;
* Comment on the software and make feature requests at FreeUndelete Customer Support page;
* If happy with the utility, share the information about FreeUndelete with others, place a link to FreeUndelete home page, etc.

Proper Usage Techniques

A deleted file is essentially an area on disk designated as free and ready to accept data (such as contents of some other file). Luckily, unless the area has already been overwritten, it still holds the contents of the deleted file. Due to this fact it is possible to undelete files.

This fact also dictates the following procedure for using FreeUndelete:
1. Minimize (and whenever possible, stop) any activity on the disk you are going to undelete files from! Remember that writing to that disk can damage the contents of the deleted files. Examples of disastrous activity include: copying files to the disk, installing programs there or running programs that use the disk as their swap media.
2. Download and install FreeUndelete. Whenever possible, save the setup executable and install the program to a disk that does not hold files you need to undelete.
3. Run and use FreeUndelete.

Tip:
It is common that the only drive user has is C: and this is also the drive from where files need to be undeleted. In that case a good solution is using a USB flash drive as FreeUndelete download and install destination.

DataRecovery v2.4.2

Description:
DataRecovery is freeware and written by TOKIWA to undelete accidentally deleted files even from recycle bin.

But DataRecovery doesn't assure that all files deleted can be recovered successfully. It mostly depends on your system/configuration and we can't support each of all those varieties.

Key-features
* FAT12,FAT16,FAT32,NTFS undeletion
* undelete NTFS compressed files
* undelete EFS encrypted files
* wipe out deleted files never to be recovered again
* runnable from floppy disk
* search by partial string in the file name
* undelete whole files in a directory
* undelete multiple files by selecting them with Shift/Ctrl key
* sort items displayed by clicking column headers
* neither installation nor DLLs is needed
* Windows Vista supported

How to use
You can understand it intuitively through simple UI. So there is no need for instructions. Also you can update DataRecovery to new version if available through "Version info" of system menu.

Notice
* You need "administrator account" to run DataRecovery at WinNT/2000/XP/Vista.
* To wipe out deleted files, DataRecovery directly write NULL to disc.
* On FAT volume, first character of the file name is sometimes overwritten by delete-code on deletion. In that case the lost character is replaced by "$" on the list displayed.
* On Windows Vista, Never to destroy OS, you can Not wipe files in system drive.
* Norton UnErase keeps DataRecovery from scanning deleted files.
* "Full scan" for NTFS is effective in such a case where you quick-formatted drives. But this would take long time, so try it only when you could not find wanted files through normal scan.

Install/Un-install
* DataRecovery doesn't need to be installed. Just unpack the archive you downloaded and it's runnable.
* DataRecovery doesn't install anything, so no registry entries or initialization files are left on your computer when you delete the directory of DataRecovery.

File Attributes
* R read-only
* H hidden
* S system
* D directory
* A archive
* N normal(no other attributes are set)
* T temporary
* O offline
* C compressed
* E encrypted
* Rp reparse point
* I index view
* Sp sparse file

DLL Archive v1.00

Description:
Everyone has uninstalled programs at one point or another, just to be presented with that wonderful dialog asking whether or not we want to delete some 'shared' Windows resource... Do we?

Does something else use that DLL file it's asking about? Help!!! That's where AnalogX DLL Archive comes in - it searches through all the files on your system and lets you know if any of them contain references to the DLL's in question!

AnalogX DLL Archive is super-simple to use, just click search and let it do it's thing - once done, you'll be presented with a list of all the DLL's that don't have references in the system! Then just select which ones you think aren't necessary anymore and archive them; it's that simple! Make a mistake? No problem, restoring DLL's from the archive is just as simple - nothing is deleted until YOU delete it.
